This post comes after his close circle confirmed that the player would seek a second medical opinion in France to address the ongoing issues with his knee, information that was followed by an official statement from Real Madrid detailing the injury. The French international opted for a conservative recovery plan and will only return to competition when he is at a hundred percent. After nearly three months of complaints that affected his performance, Mbappé decided not to rush his return, and therefore, there is no set date for his comeback to the pitch. It is already certain that Mbappé will miss the match against Celta and the important clash with Manchester City at the Bernabéu next Wednesday. So far, the forward has already missed matches against Benfica (the second leg) and Getafe. The main goal is to be fit for the second leg against Guardiola's team on March 17, but without taking any risks.
