Lionel Messi, from Inter Miami, leads this list by a wide margin, benefiting from the year in which he led the team to win the MLS. It is worth noting that no Portuguese player is included in this group, but the two most productive Portuguese players over the past year were Cristiano Ronaldo (29 goals, two assists) and Paulinho (27 goals, four assists), both with 31 direct contributions to goals for Al Nassr and Toluca respectively.
