In the battle for survival, Hamburg won 2-1 away at Wolfsburg. All goals came from penalties: Christian Eriksen (22') scored for the hosts, while Luka Vuskovic (33') and Jean-Luc Dompé (58') turned the game around for Hamburg, who had the help of Fábio Vieira – who came on in the 67th minute. Wolfsburg now has eight consecutive games without a win and remains in a delicate position in the table, while Hamburg gained some momentum in their fight for survival.
