Cristiano Ronaldo will not be returning as a solution for Al Nassr just yet. The team, managed by Jorge Jesus, will face Arkadag Kluby tomorrow in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Asian Champions League, and the Portuguese coach has decided to rest the main figures of the team. This includes, of course, the Portuguese international, as well as heavyweights like João Félix, Sadio Mané, Brozovic, and Iñigo Martínez, who have been left out by the experienced Portuguese coach for this trip to Turkmenistan. As a result of this management by Jorge Jesus, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to the pitch only next Saturday for the Saudi league, when Al Nassr will play against Al Fateh. After a period of instability caused by disagreements with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), which involved issues such as disinvestment in winter market reinforcements and delays in salaries for staff and collaborators of the Saudi club, it seems that normalcy will return with Cristiano Ronaldo back in the team. The stars of the team should be available for the second leg against Arkadag at home next week, on February 18.
