Fulham, managed by Marco Silva, returned to winning ways in the Premier League by defeating Burnley 3-1, after being behind in the second half, in a match of the 31st round of the Premier League. Scott Parker's team scored first, with Zian Flemming opening the scoring in the 60th minute. After a cross from former Vitória de Guimarães player Lyle Foster, Flemming found himself unmarked to tap the ball into the back of the net. Marco Silva's side did not take long to respond. Joshua King equalized in the 67th minute, and Harry Wilson completed the turnaround six minutes later. With Marcus Edwards (former Sporting) on the field, Josh Laurent committed a foul for a penalty, was sent off, and in the conversion of the penalty, former Benfica player Raúl Jiménez sealed the score at 3-1 in the 90+5th minute. Fulham now has 44 points, sitting in eighth place, while Burnley, which also features former Benfica player Florentino – who did not leave the bench – is virtually condemned to relegation, sitting nine points behind Nottingham Forest, managed by Vítor Pereira, which is the first team above the relegation zone.
