The judicial process regarding the death of Diego Maradona has suffered a new and controversial setback. The trial of Dahiana Madrid, the nurse who cared for the former footballer in his final days, was suspended due to an unexpected procedural error by the prosecution. The revelation was made by journalist Mauro Szeta on the program Lape Club Social, on América TV, who explained that the hearing was postponed because "the prosecutors forgot to present the evidence: the audios, the testimonies." Rodolfo Baqué, Madrid's defense attorney, confirmed the situation, emphasizing that the process could not proceed for this reason: "The prosecutors were supposed to bring the audios and videos they intended to use in the trial hearing and forgot to bring them." Szeta described the incident as a "scandal," raising further doubts about the future of the main trial, which involves several defendants and is scheduled for March 17. "Will it start or will something happen to suspend it?" he questioned, leaving the outcome of the case uncertain.
