Marcela Lermy Mingorance, Neymar's former personal chef, has come forward to deny reports of a lawsuit against the Brazilian footballer. Through her Instagram account, she categorically denied having initiated any legal action. "I have never filed a lawsuit for violation of labor rights or any legal action against him or anyone associated with him," the chef stated, contradicting information released on Friday by the Brazilian media outlet Metropoles. The publication reported that the former employee accused the Santos player of subjecting her to very harsh working conditions, with 14-hour daily shifts. However, Mingorance made it clear regarding the nature of her professional relationship with the athlete. "In light of the circulation of false information involving my name, I want to clarify: I worked for athlete Neymar Jr. from 2013 to 2018, always maintaining a professional relationship based on respect and ethics," she wrote in her post. Metropoles also claimed that the chef was demanding compensation of around 43,000 euros, a fact she also refuted. "On 06/03/2026, a profile on this platform (Instagram) published information using my image abusively, associating my name with a supposed lawsuit for violation of labor rights that does not exist. This information is false," she wrote. Marcela Lermy Mingorance concluded by assuring that she has already taken legal measures to address the situation: "Legal actions are already underway to remove the content and hold those involved accountable."
