Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim made a stellar debut in charge of Flamengo, taking over from Filipe Luís. This Sunday, at Maracanã, the Brazilian champions celebrated their victory over Fluminense, winning the Campeonato Carioca after a penalty shootout (5-4) following a goalless draw in regulation time. This marks the 40th time in history that Flamengo has won the Carioca.
