"For now, I can't say anything about what I will decide, because I don't even know, I'm not even 50% sure of the path I want to take," the player stated in an interview with The Athletic, contradicting statements made by his wife in January, which suggested that this would be his "last season at Barça." Although leaving seems a likely scenario at the end of the season, Lewandowski prefers not to rush. "I don't know, I have to feel it. With the age and experience I have, I don't need to decide now," explained the 37-year-old forward, who has already scored 115 goals in the blaugrana jersey. The Polish international added that the decision could be made later, without any pressure. "Maybe in three months it will be the right time to do it, but even then I don't feel stressed. I have to start feeling it so that it will be easier when we talk about my future," he mentioned. Regardless of what the future holds for him, Lewandowski reflects positively on his time at Barcelona. "Being at Barça these last few years has allowed me to see how much dedication and work is done behind the scenes to move the club forward. There is great ambition and faith in the future," he commented. In the same interview, Lewandowski also shared a reflection on his physical and dietary evolution throughout his career: "I used to think I could eat whatever I wanted because I was slim, but when I trained, I didn't have strength.
