Upon witnessing the attack, the athletes stepped in to calm the situation until authorities arrived. Although witnesses reported that the players were bloodied during the confrontation, it was confirmed that both were in good health on Sunday and did not require any medical treatment. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident: 'Police responded to a report of an assault on Queen's Road, Richmond, at around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 22. Officers contacted the victim. An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.' Brentford currently sits in seventh place in the Premier League with 46 points, just two points behind Chelsea.
