Alejandro Garnacho was found guilty of speeding while leaving the Manchester United training center before heading to Chelsea. The Argentine admitted to the offense and was fined approximately 700 euros. The winger was caught by a camera driving his Audi RS3 at 80 km/h in a zone with a limit of 64 km/h, as he left the training facilities of his former team last summer. The incident, which occurred on August 26, led Garnacho to admit the infraction through his legal representatives in a Liverpool court. The player apologized and stated he was "embarrassed" by what happened. The judge imposed a fine of around 700 euros, also ordering him to pay 130 euros in court costs and 300 euros in compensation. Additionally, he received three penalty points on his driving license. Garnacho had also been accused of failing to respond to a police letter regarding the infraction when asked to identify the driver of his vehicle last October. However, this charge was dropped after he admitted guilt.
