Present at the inauguration of the Winter Olympics in Milan, 38-year-old Novak Djokovic was questioned by journalists about his future plans. Novak Djokovic seems determined that his main goal, besides winning another Grand Slam title, is to stay healthy, fit, and competitive enough to participate in the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, when he will be 41 years old. During the opening ceremony of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, the Serbian athlete was asked by several Italian channels, and in a brief conversation with Corriere TV, he made an impactful reflection. "My desire is to compete in Los Angeles. It’s true that there’s still a long time to go, and at this stage of my life, I can’t think long-term, but I would love to participate in that event. I’m not sure how much longer I will play, and I don’t know if participating in Los Angeles would mean playing one tournament a year, or two, or seven, or ten, or fifteen. Honestly, I don’t know. My only wish right now is to enjoy time with my family," explained the most decorated tennis player in history. Throughout his career, Novak has won two Olympic medals, gold in 2024 and bronze in 2008.
