In the current season, the striker has already scored 20 goals in 29 matches. "We will continue to achieve dreams together" 🇵🇹👹 pic.twitter.com/1H0r0yxsa Y. The club, known as the Devils, also announced the renewal of midfielder Franco Romero—thus securing two of the team's main players. It is worth noting that Paulinho was the top scorer in three different phases of the Mexican championship between 2024/25 and 2025/26, contributing decisively to the team's championship title. In total, the player, who has three caps and two goals for the National Team, has scored 49 goals in 72 official matches for Toluca. Last season, the team won the champion of champions trophy. Currently, after five rounds of the Clausura tournament, Toluca is in sixth place in the standings with nine points, positioned to qualify for the championship playoff.
