National champions with FC Porto, Zaidu and Terem Moffi were called up by the Nigeria national team to face Portugal on June 10, in the second of two games to prepare the Quinas team for the 2026 World Cup.
Key details
The two Dragons players are on Eric Chelle’s list for the duel with the team coached by Roberto Martínez, but also for the match against Poland (day 3), so they could face teammates Bednarek, Kiwior and Pietuszewski, if they are called up by Jan Urban.

It is important to note that Moffi, unlike Zaidu, was also called to compete in the Unity Cup, a private tournament that takes place between May 26th and 30th in London. The participating teams are Nigeria, India, Jamaica and Zimbabwe.
The Super Eagles, it is worth remembering, did not qualify for the World Cup. Portugal, in addition to Nigeria (in Leiria), will also face Chile, on June 6, at the National Stadium.
