«To our fans, from day one I asked you to always be with us and that is what you have done over the last five years. Together we achieve great things. My staff and I have always felt your support and we will not forget it. Fulham will always be in my heart and, sooner or later, I will return to Craven Cottage”, said the Eagles’ next coach in a message addressed to the English club’s fans.
