The news was confirmed by selector Julian Nagelsmann, at a press conference on Friday night. The coach revealed that the situation “doesn’t look good” and that the player was transported to the hospital to undergo tests.
At the moment, the possibility of the injury keeping Lennart Karl out of the World Cup is on the table, which would force the call of a replacement to replace the young creative who ‘exploded’ at Bayern this season.
According to Nagelsmann, there will only be official confirmation about the player’s clinical condition after the medical examinations have been completed.
