Atalanta announced this Tuesday the end of the relationship with Raffaele Palladino, who leaves the technical command of the Bergamo team after taking up the role in November 2025.

Palladino arrived at a delicate stage of the season, following a disappointing start under the command of Croatian Ivan Juric, who had replaced Gian Piero Gasperini, who had left for Roma at the end of the previous season. Since then, he has managed to stabilize the team and improve the Bergamo club’s competitive performance.
Under his guidance, Atalanta finished Serie A in seventh place, a result that guaranteed their place in the next edition of the UEFA Conference League. In the Italian Cup, the base was only defeated in the semi-finals by Lazio.
In the Champions League, the Italians reached the round of 16, but could not resist the power of Bayern, suffering two heavy defeats (6-1 and 4-1), which resulted in elimination with a 10-2 aggregate.
Despite the recovery seen in recent months, the club’s management seems determined to start a new cycle, with Maurizio Sarri identified by the Italian press as the main candidate to take on the role.
