After 22 matches played, Bournemouth activated the purchase option, announcing: "Jiménez is officially ours." The Spanish U-21 international signed a contract valid for five and a half seasons, until 2031. Jiménez had joined the cherries last summer on a loan deal valued at 1.5 million euros, and his immediate impact in the Premier League was crucial for the permanent acquisition. The remaining amount will be split, with Real Madrid potentially earning close to 13 million euros.
