Alisson Santos, who transferred from Sporting to Napoli, did not hide his excitement about signing with the Italian club, describing the move as a dream come true. "I am very happy to be here; for me, it is a dream. Napoli is a great club. I have worked hard in my career to get here. I hope to help the club achieve our goals," the player stated in an interview with Radio CRC. As reported by A BOLA, Sporting received 3.5 million euros for the loan of the player until the end of the season. Napoli has the option to permanently sign the Brazilian forward for 16.5 million euros – if this option is exercised, Sporting retains the right to receive 10% of any profit from a future sale of the Brazilian. It is worth noting that the lions paid 2.1 million euros for Alisson's transfer when they signed him from Vitória. Alisson has already made his debut in the Napoli jersey last Tuesday in a Coppa Italia match against Como. Despite the defeat, the Brazilian described the experience as unique. "Playing for Napoli is an incredible feeling, feeling the passion of the fans. I was happy to make my debut, but obviously sad about the result. I am very ambitious and do not like to lose," he confessed. It is important to remember that this was not the first time Alisson played at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, as he had previously done so while playing for Sporting in the Champions League. In the recent cup match, the Brazilian was one of the players to score in the penalty shootout. "I was very confident because I trust my work. Every day I also practice penalties to be ready when the opportunity arises," he explained. The player also revealed that he feels fully integrated into the new club. "I feel very good here. When I arrived, everyone welcomed me well; I felt embraced by the whole group. I already feel at home," he said, adding that his teammates are helping him learn Italian, although he admits that "it is very difficult." Regarding the new coach, Antonio Conte, Alisson did not hold back on the praise. "Conte is a great coach with a history in football, and I am learning a lot from him and the entire coaching staff. I am happy; I think I will learn a lot here and improve as a footballer," he emphasized. When comparing Italian football to what he knew, the player highlighted the similarities in the playing style of Napoli with that of Sporting, stating that "both teams control the game a lot and maintain possession of the ball." However, he pointed out important differences: "The Italian league is more technical and played with high intensity. Every day I work to improve in these aspects." Recently arrived in Naples, Alisson has not yet had the opportunity to explore the city. "I haven't had time yet. I am organizing my life; my family will also come here. I am a very calm person: I like to stay at home, play video games, and listen to music. But when I have time, I will visit the city," he concluded.
