News, goals, and analysis – only on the official A BOLA app. Milan, under Ruben Amorim, has secured the signing of Sankhoun Diawara, a central defender from Troyes, in a deal that is expected to be around three million euros, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The young player, born in 2006 (20 years old) and developed at the French club, with whom he was a champion in Ligue 2, will be immediately integrated into the first team for the new season. Although he was initially considered as a reinforcement for the B team, managed by Sergio Navarro, the Italian club’s management is contemplating his immediate inclusion in the first team at the request of the Portuguese coach. The goal is for Diawara to develop under the guidance of Pavlovic, with whom he shares similar characteristics. Like Pavlovic, Diawara is left-footed and shows great quality in the build-up phase, a trait that pleases Amorim, who sees him as his natural successor throughout the season. Last season in France, the French defender played 14 matches in Ligue 2, accumulating a total of 1,048 minutes on the pitch. The player’s willingness was a decisive factor in finalizing the deal. Sankhoun Diawara, who had only one year left on his contract, chose to give up a starting position at Rangers, according to the same source, to embrace the project of the rossoneri.
