Pedro Álvaro, a center back who was trained at Benfica, has signed for two seasons with the Chinese club Shandong Taishan. The 25-year-old player, who made a name for himself at Estoril, was with the Greek club Aris Thessaloniki in the first half of the season and played 18 matches. He now leaves Greek football and heads to China as a free agent. This will be Pedro Álvaro's second experience outside of Portugal and his first outside of Europe.
