Cristiano Ronaldo is injured. The Portuguese international left the last match against Al Fayha (3-1) in difficulty on Saturday, around the 80th minute, and on Tuesday, Al Nassr confirmed in a statement that their captain suffered a muscle injury in his right thigh. "Cristiano Ronaldo was diagnosed with a muscle injury in his thigh after the last game against Al Fayha. He started [on Tuesday] his rehabilitation program and will be evaluated daily," reads the statement from the Saudi club. Therefore, Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to be fit for the next match, the home game against Neom (March 7, Saturday) for the Saudi league, as Jorge Jesus' team was supposed to face Al Wasl from the Emirates, a reunion with Rui Vitória, but the Asian Champions League matches were postponed due to tensions in the Middle East. The other match this month for Al Nassr is scheduled for March 14, away against Al Khaleej. There is also uncertainty about whether CR7 will be recovered in time for Portugal's training camp, which will take place at the end of the month, as the National Team faces Mexico and the USA on March 29 and April 1, respectively. This news comes on the same day that Cristiano's private jet left Riyadh and landed in Madrid on Tuesday morning, but the presence of the 41-year-old athlete in Saudi Arabia has already been confirmed as he recovers from the physical issue. If he is not fit for the next match, it would be only the second time Ronaldo has missed a game for Al Nassr in just over three years due to injury. The first was at the end of the 2024/25 season, also due to a muscle issue.
