Italian media reports this Tuesday that Milan is ready to listen to offers for Rafael Leão, the 26-year-old Portuguese international. The controversy at the end of the last match, which ended with the rossoneri's 0-1 defeat against Lazio, seems to have been the last straw for the club's patience with the forward. Leão was substituted in the 66th minute, resisted hugging coach Massimiliano Allegri, and according to reports from the Italian press, was close to having a confrontation with teammate Christian Pulisic in the locker room. The newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport mentions this on its front page this Tuesday. "Leão: many tensions, Milan is fed up and Rafa is on the market," states the publication, which cites other sources saying that, despite a release clause of 170 million euros, the Milan club would be willing to listen to offers around €80 million. Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport mentions on its front page that the former Sporting player "has difficulties playing as a center forward and poor chemistry with Pulisic" and notes that there may be interest from the Premier League and Saudi Arabia. Rafael Leão has a contract for two more seasons, until the end of the 2027/28 season. He is in his seventh year with Milan, having already won a league title and an Italian Supercup. He has made 284 appearances, scored 80 goals, and provided 64 assists for the rossoneri and was named the best player in Serie A in 2021/22.
