Chelsea’s management is set to proceed with the extension of Marc Cucurella’s contract, rewarding the Spanish left-back for his excellent performances. According to TEAMtalk, both parties are already in negotiations for the signing of a new contract. The agreement will see the 27-year-old Spanish international remain in London for another year, until the summer of 2032. Additionally, the new contract will include a significant increase in his annual earnings, which are expected to rise to seven million euros, up from the five million he currently earns. Cucurella has been a key player for the Blues since the summer of 2022, when he was signed from Brighton for 45 million euros. This season, his contribution has been crucial, with 35 appearances across all competitions, including one goal and three assists.
