Leny Yoro, a defender for Manchester United, had his driving license revoked by the English courts after being caught driving at 112 km/h in a school zone where the speed limit was 48 km/h. The Porsche Cayenne GTS, valued at 200,000 euros and owned by former player Ruben Amorim, was recorded at 112 km/h by a camera in the suburb of Withington, Manchester, in August 2025. Yoro's lawyers issued an apology on his behalf. In his defense, Yoro explained that the road was clear at the time and that he was 'in a hurry to take a friend to the train station.' In addition to the six-month driving ban, Yoro, who pleaded guilty, received a fine of 761 euros and was ordered to pay 137 euros in costs and an additional fee of 305 euros for victims at the Crewe Magistrates' Court on Saturday. Yoro, 20, joined Manchester United in 2024 from Lille for a transfer fee of 60 million euros. He has made 23 appearances for the Red Devils this season.
