Manchester United Defender Leny Yoro Banned from Driving for Six Months

Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding in a school zone in Manchester. The English courts revoked his driving license following the incident, which occurred in August 2025.

Yoro, a 20-year-old player who joined Manchester United in 2024 from Lille for a reported transfer fee of 60 million euros, was recorded driving a Porsche Cayenne GTS at 112 km/h in a zone where the speed limit was 48 km/h. The vehicle, valued at around 200,000 euros, is owned by former player Ruben Amorim. The speeding offence took place in the suburb of Withington, Manchester, and was captured by a speed camera.
