The German Football Association (DFB) has imposed a total fine of 440,250 euros on Eintracht Frankfurt following accusations from the DFB Control Committee regarding 10 cases of unsportsmanlike behavior by fans, as well as one case of discriminatory behavior. The majority of the sanction, amounting to 171,000 euros, relates to incidents that occurred during the away Bundesliga match against Cologne on November 22, 2025. Fans of the Frankfurt team lit 94 flares, fired seven rockets, and set off six firecrackers, leading to a two-minute interruption of the game. After the match, materials used for the choreography in the visiting fans' section caused a large fire at the venue, requiring firefighters to intervene and control the situation. Additionally, discriminatory chants were recorded before the start of the match. The club has been allowed to redirect up to 146,500 euros of the total amount for improving security or preventing violence, and must provide proof of these investments to the DFB by September 30, 2026. It should be noted that two-thirds of the total fine is allocated to federation foundations, while one-third can be reinvested by clubs in venue security. Against Dortmund (October 28, 2025), before the start of the match, fans lit at least 70 flares and 30 smoke bombs. In compensation, two paper balls were thrown towards the assistant referee. The fine amounts to 102,000 euros (up to 34,000 euros for preventive measures). In the match against Hamburg (December 20, 2025), 25 flares and two strobe lights were launched, along with 12 rockets, resulting in a fine of 63,000 euros (up to 21,000 euros for preventive measures). Against Freiburg (October 19, 2025), before the match, fans activated at least 45 flares, one firecracker, and one strobe light — fine of 46,000 euros (up to 15,300 euros for preventive measures). Against Leverkusen (September 12, 2025), at the 50-minute mark, at least 30 flares and smoke bombs were recorded, and one rocket was fired, causing a two-minute interruption — fine of 41,250 euros (up to 13,700 euros for preventive measures). Against Union Berlin (September 21, 2025), choreography materials were thrown onto the field, causing a two-minute interruption, and against Heidenheim (November 1, 2025), eight smoke bombs were recorded — fine of 8,000 euros in each case (up to 2,600 euros per case for preventive measures). Against M'gladbach (September 27, 2025), a fan lit a strobe light before the start of the second half — fine of 1,000 euros (up to 300 euros for preventive measures).
