The transalpine publication recalls that Luciano Spalletti's team is looking to strengthen itself with the leadership, experience, and quality of the Portuguese international to challenge for the Serie A title next season, although they are aware of the competition. Agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly been informed of the club's willingness to offer a three-year contract (plus one option), breaking the internal rule for players over 30 years old — and the proposed salary is expected to be no less than 7 or 8 million euros per season, according to the newspaper. Benfica, Barcelona, and Galatasaray are other clubs that have been linked to the player, who has informed interested clubs that he will only decide his future at the end of April.
