Chindia Targoviste, a club competing in the Romanian second division, has launched a new jersey featuring the face of Vlad the Impaler on the front. Vlad the Impaler, who lived in the 15th century, was the inspiration for Count Dracula, the vampire protagonist of the famous novel by Irish writer Bram Stoker. A post shared by FC Chindia Oficial (@afc.chindia.oficial) Chindia Targoviste is on a five-match winning streak and currently sits in fifth place in the second tier. The team has already played in the new jersey. It was precisely with Vlad’s face emblazoned on the kit that Chindia Targoviste defeated Bihor Oradea in the last round of the Romanian second division.
