Jurgen Klopp posted a message on the social media platform Instagram in which he assured that he did not make any statements regarding England’s elimination from the World Cup. Hours after phrases allegedly attributed to him about Thomas Tuchel’s tactical management circulated on social media, the former Liverpool manager set the record straight. “Today I received many messages about things I saw on social media that I supposedly said about England, Tuchel, and tactics. That is not true,” he emphasized. Klopp confirmed that he has not spoken to anyone “in the last three, four, or five days” and that he will only appear publicly again at the World Cup final on Sunday. “Crazy world,” he lamented, before addressing his followers. “Don’t believe everything you read. This time you are definitely wrong,” he assured.
